15 Reasons Why The Obamacare Decision Is A Mind Blowing Disaster For America

You can almost always count on the Supreme Court to do the wrong thing.  In fact, just about every major decision by the U.S. Supreme Court over the last 40 years has been bad for America.


Many were hoping that the Supreme Court would strike down Obamacare, but the truth is that we all should have known better than to expect them to get something right.  So now America is headed for a complete and total disaster as Obamacare is fully implemented over the next several years.  Obamacare is going to absolutely shred the infrastructure of our medical system, it is going to send health insurance premiums soaring, it is going to dramatically expand the size and the scope of government, it is going to fundamentally alter the relationships between doctors and their patients and it is one of the largest tax increases in U.S. history.  Not only that, it is also going to add about a trillion dollars to our national debt over the next decade.  So no, the Obamacare decision is not good news.  Obamacare was one of the worst pieces of legislation in American history, and now we are stuck with it.

It was a 5-4 decision to uphold Obamacare, and the swing vote was Chief Justice John Roberts who was appointed by George W. Bush.

After the vote today, it is hard to have any faith in the U.S. Supreme Court.  Many constitutional conservatives kept voting for Republicans in the hope that the direction of the Supreme Court would change, but it hasn’t.

Prior to the Obama administration, Republicans controlled the White House for 20 out of 28 years.  If Republicans were going to fundamentally change the nature of the Supreme Court, that was their opportunity.

But it didn’t happen.

Instead, what we have is a Supreme Court that is dominated by judges that have very little respect for the U.S. Constitution.  When I was in law school I got to study the Supreme Court pretty closely and I quickly realized that most of the time they simply do whatever they want to do and they make up whatever reasons they can to justify their decisions.

That sounds really bad, but that is the truth.

And thanks to the Supreme Court, we are stuck with Obamacare – at least for now.

The following are 15 reasons why the Obamacare decision is a mind blowing disaster for America….

#1 According to the U.S. Supreme Court, the federal government has the power to force you to buy private goods and services.  Now that this door has been opened, what else will we be forced to buy in the future?

#2 Obamacare is another step away from individual liberty and another step toward a “nanny state” where the government dominates our lives from the cradle to the grave.

#3 The IRS is now going to be given the task of hunting down and penalizing millions of Americans that do not have any health insurance.  In fact, the Obama administration has given the IRS 500 million extra dollars “outside the normal appropriations process” to help them enforce the provisions of Obamacare that they are in charge of overseeing.

#4 Obamacare imposes more than 20 new taxes on the American people.  You can find a comprehensive list of Obamacare taxes right here.  If you love paying higher taxes, then you are going to absolutely love Obamacare once it is fully implemented.

#5 In an attempt to “control costs” and “promote efficiency”, Obamacare limits the treatment options that doctors and patients can consider.  This is likely to result in a decrease in life expectancy in the United States.

#6 Obamacare is going to impose nightmarish paperwork burdens on doctors, hospitals and the rest of the healthcare system.  This is going to significantly increase our healthcare costs as a nation.

#7 Obamacare is going to send health insurance premiums soaring.  This is especially true for younger Americans.

#8 Many small businesses are going to be absolutely crushed by the provisions in Obamacare that require them to provide expensive health insurance coverage for their employees.  This is going to make them even less competitive with companies in other countries where businesses are not required to provide healthcare for their workers.  This is also going to make it even less attractive for businesses to hire new employees.

#9 Obamacare is going to make the emerging doctor shortage in America a lot worse.  Surveys have found that we could potentially see hundreds of thousands of doctors leave the medical profession because of Obamacare.

#10 Obamacare has already forced the cancellation of dozens of doctor-owned hospitals.

#11 Obamacare is going to result in a much bigger federal government.  In order to fully implement all of the provisions of Obamacare, hordes of new government bureaucrats will be required.

#12 Thanks to Obamacare, you are going to have to wait much longer to see a doctor.  Just look at what happened once Romneycare was implemented in Massachusetts….

In fact, we have already seen the start of this process in Massachusetts, where Mitt Romney’s health care reforms were nearly identical to President Obama’s. Romney’s reforms increased the demand for health care but did nothing to expand the supply of physicians. In fact, by cracking down on insurance premiums, Massachusetts pushed insurers to reduce their payments to providers, making it less worthwhile for doctors to expand their practices. As a result, the average wait to get an appointment with a doctor grew from 33 days to over 55 days.

#13 Obamacare contains all kinds of insidious little provisions that most people don’t even know about.  The following is one example from the Alliance Defense Fund….

“Did you know that with ObamaCare you will have to pay for life-saving drugs, but life-ending drugs are free. One hundred percent free. If this plan were really about health care wouldn’t it be the other way around?”

#14 As if the U.S. government was not facing enough of a crisis with entitlement spending, it is being projected that Obamacare will add 16 million more Americans to the Medicaid rolls.  You and I will be paying for all of this.

#15 The Congressional Budget Office estimates that Obamacare will add more than a trillion dollars to government spending over the next decade.  Considering the fact that the U.S. government is already drowning in debt, how in the world can we afford this?

“Turn In Your Guns At Your Local Church”

Last weekend, the Chicago Police Department collaborated with over 20 local churches in a giant effort to encourage Chicagoans “to get guns out of their homes.” WBBM News Radio has the story. “Using the lure of $100 gift cards, the Chicago Police Department is encouraging people to get guns out of their homes and turn them in this Saturday, during the annual gun turn-in program.”


The news report goes on to say, “[T]he Police Department is partnering with 20 churches.

First Deputy Supt. Alfonza Wysinger says anyone who turns in a real gun will get a $100 gift card. Replicas and BB guns are worth $10.

“‘No questions asked,’ Wysinger said. ‘Just show up at the church, and hand over the weapons to the CPD officer that will be there, and get your $100 gift card. So we strongly suggest that people come out that have weapons lying around the house, or weapons, maybe, that they don’t necessarily want in their house. This is a chance to get some money for their weapon, and get another dangerous weapon on [sic] the street.’”

The report then lists 23 churches that are identified as participating in the gun turn-in event.

But I particularly enjoyed a few of the comments that readers posted to the online report:

One guy wrote, “Gun thieves will be lined up for blocks.”

Another wrote, “They can arrest you for having a gun outside of your house.”

And another person wrote, “[Criminals] are turning in the guns they used in multiple crimes because the stupid politicians will destroy them thus getting rid of the evidence…”

And perhaps my favorite comment on the story was this one: “WOW. BOTH police and CHURCHES turning traitor against the Constitution.”

Truthfully, think about the absurdity of this gun turn-in program. As one reader noted, think of the money gun thieves will make on this program. As any tenured lawman knows, most guns are stolen to resell in order to get the money to purchase drugs, booze, sex, etc. Some are used in crimes, sure. But most are used for the purpose of making a buck. Imagine a gun thief who has perhaps 50 or 60 stolen guns in his possession: that guy has just made a small fortune OFF THE TAXPAYERS. Remember, there are “no questions asked.” And since the cops in Chicago seem to be doing this annually, how many gun thieves are stealing guns all year long and just saving up for the big payout, or how many start a gun-stealing frenzy just before the anticipated gun turn-in program? $100 for a stolen gun is often a higher bid than what the thief would get on the street. What a deal!

And think of this angle: what better way to get some quick dough by selling a gun or two that is totally inoperable, and then taking the money and buying a gun that actually works? Again, what a deal!

And another reader nailed it when he observed that taking a firearm outside your home is a CRIME in Chicago. In fact, I am surprised to learn that people in Chicago can even legally have a gun in their homes. You cannot legally carry a firearm in Chicago. So, the CPD is encouraging people to BREAK THE LAW. I can just imagine people all over Chicago caught carrying guns and telling the arresting officer, “I was going to take it to the gun turn-in program.” And you know what the cop would say, right? “Tell it to the judge.”

This brings up another point: why is there so much gun-related crime in Chicago, anyway? After all, Chicago has some of the most restrictive gun laws in the entire country. GUNS ARE ILLEGAL IN CHICAGO! So, pray tell, where is all of this gun-related crime coming from? I thought that passing laws restricting the ownership and possession of firearms was supposed to reduce crime? If that is truly the case, Chicago, Washington, D.C., and New York City, etc., should be the most peaceful places on earth! Of course, the truth is if you want to find peaceful communities, go to states such as Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, and Vermont where just about everybody is packin’ heat!

Plus, the point that another reader made about criminals turning in the guns with which they have committed crimes and thereby letting the authorities destroy those firearms–thus destroying the evidence–is a very astute observation. Way to go CPD!

But the icing on the cake for me is the point that one reader made when he said, “WOW. BOTH police and CHURCHES turning traitor against the Constitution.” Bingo!

Another reader was even more direct. He said, “The government and so called churches will be the downfall of this great country’s Constitution.” Amen!

It grieves me to say that a sizeable percentage (if not a majority) of today’s churches are as culpable in the dismantling of our Constitution and Bill of Rights as any entity one can think of. So many pastors and churches today are unwilling to take a stand against almost ANYTHING that might have political overtones. I doubt that most of them would say “Boo” to the devil himself–especially if he came dressed in a government uniform. They are all about making people feel good, entertaining people, and stroking people’s egos.

In fact, let me ask my church-going readers to try an experiment. The next time you go to church, ask your pastor where he or she stands on the Second Amendment. Ask them, “Would our church participate in a police-sponsored gun turn-in program?” Ask them, “If the President declared a ‘national emergency,’ and FEMA (or any federal or State agency) asks you to ask your congregation to turn in their firearms, would you agree to do so?” Go ahead: ask them! Then observe their reaction very carefully.

You can count on this: virtually no pastor whose church is receiving federal “faith based initiative” taxpayer monies would take a public stand for the Second Amendment under those conditions. Count on it. So maybe you should also ask your pastor if your church is receiving federal “faith based initiative” monies. All over America, literally thousands of churches are accepting federal tax dollars to help support their daycare centers, their after-school programs, their “Christian” schools, their food banks, etc.

Contrast today’s churches to those of Colonial America. In those days, gun racks for the rifles that had been brought to church were as common as coat racks. In fact, many times, the church basement or back room was used as a place in which caches of firearms were commonly stored.

I realize the times in which we live do not remotely resemble those of Colonial America, but the spirit and attitudes of the pastors and men of the church should still be the same: that freedom is fragile and that firearms are “the people’s liberty teeth” (George Washington), that, “An armed society is a polite society” (Robert Heinlein), and, “No freeman shall ever be debarred the use of arms” (Thomas Jefferson).

And while these milquetoast preachers are preparing their sermonettes, they should read what the Lord Jesus said: “He that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.” (Luke 22:36) Of course, the Roman sword was the First Century equivalent to a Twenty-First Century handgun: it was the weapon of choice for personal, close quarter combat. In today’s parlance, Jesus said if you don’t have the money, sell your clothes if you have to, and buy a GUN! That’s a far cry from churches in Chicago asking people to give up their guns, isn’t it?

I don’t know about anyone else, but I will take the word of Jesus over the word of Barack Obama and his Chicago Gestapo any day!

13 Reasons Why The Revolution Might Start with Obamacare

Has any of the Supreme Court Justices read the Constitution lately? I can say five of the justices will have to be held accountable for how they ruled. There is no reason why Obama care should be ruled Constitutional. Many Americans read the Constitution and know with no doubt what is said in simple terms. The Constitution was meant to be understood by the common person. It is not complicated to understand. It does not take a Harvard Law Degree to understand with clarity what the Constitution says about Obamacare. Only lawyers can screw it up with their own twisted thinking and word manipulation to stretch the meaning beyond the intent..Does anyone think the American people will let the US Supreme Court be the final word on a flawed ruling? Let the public backlash begin, the American people by an overwhelming majority will rule Obamacare unconstitutional by non compliance in mass.

I will tell you why Obamacare is unconstitutional, I do not have a law degree, I did not attend collage. I am just a high school graduate. Even a 5 year old child being home schooled can say why the Affordable Heath care act is unconstitutional. Here is why it is unconstitutional applying my knowledge of history, reading the Constitution:

1. The Obamacare individual Mandate is a direct Tax which is unconstitutional under Article 1 section 9:

No Capitation, or other direct, Tax shall be laid, unless in Proportion to the Census or Enumeration herein before directed to be taken.

2. It violates State’s right since the Federal Government does not have the Constitutional Authority to take over Healthcare as stated in the 10th Amendment outlined in the Bill of Rights.

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

3. This mandate is involuntary servitude or slavery to the big banks and the insurance industries. The 13 amendment states:

Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.

4. It benefits certain industries in a crony capitalist or a monopoly system is illegal in the Constitution under Article 1 section 8:

No Preference shall be given by any Regulation of Commerce or Revenue to the Ports of one State over those of another; nor shall Vessels bound to, or from, one State, be obliged to enter, clear, or pay Duties in another.

5. Justice Kagan is not supposed to hear this case because of conflict of interest. The reason is; she was part of drafting and passing the Affordable Healthcare Act. I would recommend many state Attorney Generals invalidate the ruling from the High Court on the bases Justice Kagan did not recuse herself as the law prescribed.

6. The American people overwhelmingly reject the Government taking over the Healthcare industry.

7.  This July 4. We celebrate Independence Day breaking all political ties with the King of England because of taxes and government oppressing the colonist as written in the Declaration of Independence stating:

He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people and eat out their substance.

 Get ready for IRS agents to come and collect unjust taxes trying to force us to pay for something we do not want.

8. The Individual Mandate is a tax imposed on us, just as the early colonist said in their grievance against the King Stated again in the Declaration of Independence.

For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent.

We went from no taxation without representation to TAXATION WITHOUT HESITATION 235 years later

Obamacare was rammed down our throats without our consent.

9.  Remember the Whiskey and Shays rebellions. The people will resist and revolt than pay for a tax they never consented to nor are not legally bound under the Constitution. The people back in our early history were the final check on government power.

10. The American people will be the final check on government power as stated again in the famous document signed by 56 people on July 4, 1776:

That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

11. States can ignore the supreme court ruling under this landmark decision Prinz Mack vs. Brady Bill victory for the 10th Amendment with Justice Scalia giving the majority opinion writing saying the several states “are not subject to federal direction” reinforcing the Federalist papers quote:

” The great innovation of this design was that-our citizens would have two political capacities, one state and one federal, each protected from incursion by the other”

 With another Federalist quote:

” Just as the separation and independence of the coordinate branches of the Federal Government serve to prevent the accumulation of excessive power in any one branch, a healthy balance of power between the States and the Federal Government will reduce the risk of tyranny and abuse from either front”

12. States will reject implementing Obamacare for the reason, it cost too much. It will wreck the economies of already on the brink in many states hit hard by the economic depression. It will increase the number of people out of work. Many states will balk,

13. This ruling will also give fuel to people running for state legislators. The people will demand the states to nullify Obamacare with other draconian illegal Federal incursions like the TSA with more intensity.

This ruling might be the spark America needs to find within themselves to take their country back from socialist control freaks. Firearms sales are rising to record levels. The reason is the people see the government as a threat to their safety and security. They do not see the phony enemy of radical Islam as a threat it was years ago. Al Quada is not groping people at the airport and forcing us to pay for health insurance. It is our own government.

This ruling might be a blessing in disguise that could be the best thing to happen for America. This is a good reason more then ever to push back government inside the confines of the Constitution. Are you motivated to take back America? Just face facts, we can no longer sit on the sidelines being a spectator. We no choice but to push back or we will be slaves. I am no slave, are you?

The Obamacare Precedent: The Second Amendment is Next

Now that government employees in black robes have upheld Obamacare and shifted compliance over to thugs at the IRS, we can expect further encroachments on our constitutional rights. The Obamacare precedent has emboldened a tyrannical federal government.

Gun Owners of America notes that the law requires the medical information of all Americans to be entered in a database and argues that this will be used against legal gun owners.

“Centralizing these medical records will allow the FBI to troll a list of Americans for ailments such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) to deny them their gun rights, in the same way that the Veterans Administration has already denied more than 150,000 veterans their right to bear arms,” GOA writes.

PTSD is only the beginning. There are any number of medical conditions the government will ultimately cite in order to restrict gun ownership.

Medical care providers now routinely ask patients if there are “guns in the home” and this information is added to medical records.

In Tennessee, legislators were so concerned about this prospect they introduced House Bill 2672 in January. It forbids health care providers from asking if a “patient or the family member owns, possesses or stores a firearm or ammunition unless the practitioner in good faith believes that the inquiry is relevant to the patient’s medical care or safety, or to the safety of others.” Unfortunately, the bill failed to make it out of a judiciary subcommittee in March.

The government continues to concoct excuses to deny gun ownership for medical reasons. In October, for instance, the Justice Department sent letters to federally registered and licensed gun dealers instructing them not to sell guns and ammo to medical marijuana card holders.

“Any person who uses or is addicted to marijuana, regardless of whether or not his or her state has passed legislation authorizing marijuana use for medicinal purposes, is an unlawful user of or is addicted to a controlled substance and is prohibited by federal law from possessing firearms or ammunition,” Arthur Herbert, Assistant Director for Enforcement Programs and Services for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms, wrote in the memo.

The medical establishment has pushed an anti-gun agenda for decades. “Over the years, the entrenched medical/public-health establishment, acting as a willing accomplice of the gun-control lobby has conducted politicized, results-oriented gun (control) research based on what can only be characterized as junk science,” writes Miguel A. Faria Jr., a medical doctor.

More than a decade ago, Faria explained how the CDC and the health care establishment attempted to turn gun violence into a medical issue and worked hand-in-hand with government to build the case for not only gun restriction but confiscation.

Now that the medical establishment and the federal government are bound together through the tyrannical tendrils of Obamacare, it seems more than likely the anti-gun agenda will take up the mantle of public safety and health as they work to deny us the fundamental right guaranteed by the Second Amendment.

Obamacare, after all, is about control, not health care. A control freak federal government is determined to micromanage every aspect of our lives. In order to successfully do this it must disarm the public and ensure that resistance is indeed futile.

There will be much written about the US Supreme Court’s decision not to overturn major portions of the “Obamacare” health care bill, but in reality it simply recognizes the obvious: the US Fedgov can pretty much do what it likes.

In a direct and cogent analysis posted on Infowars, Kurt Nimmo cuts to the heart of the issue, as follows:

Today’s ruling is important because it is the first time in history that the federal government has required citizens enter into contract with private corporations to buy a product or service. It also represents one of the most egregious violations of the Constitution in American history.

Nimmo is “telling it like it is” … and giving us a larger context for this decision, and its anti-freedom impacts. In fact, this sort of authoritarianism has been building for some time.

The Constitution is often presented as freedom’s bulwark, but history seems to show it’s been pretty much of a dead letter since the Civil War, if not earlier. US patriots don’t like to hear that, of course. Put it in blunter terms: Individual freedom, such as it is, has been eroding since the Founders put pen to paper.

There are plenty of questions about the status of the United States and the secret societies that swarmed about its initial composition. There are questions about the ultimate allegiances of such “founders” as Alexander Hamilton, who may have been an agent of the European Banks and their New York counterparts.

The creeping authoritarianism of the first 100 years of the Republic was just a warm-up. The massacres of “Native Americans” and then advent of the Civil War shows us clearly how quickly the US government turned on its citizens – probably at the behest of ancient, overseas banking powers in London’s City.

Once it was proven that states could not leave the union, corruption began to blossom powerfully. Tammany Hall, Whiskey Ring and Teapot Dome scandals were no coincidences. Fedgov had the power and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

It’s gone from bad to worse since then. The late 1800s saw surges of increasingly centralized stock exchange speculation – and the gradual creation of what is today a corporate state. Corporations themselves were given additional artificial powers by the Supreme Court of the day, laying the groundwork for the current troubles.

The creation of the Federal Reserve and the imposition of the income tax were among the final elements of authoritarian rule. Henceforth, Fedgov would hand-in-glove with private bankers to illegally print money and via the income tax would be empowered to know everything about its citizens finances and investments.

Of course, while the US was implementing these freedom-eroding facilities, Europe was growing worse too. This is no surprise. The same global elites that are behind the perversions of freedom in the US and the West generally helped fund the rise of Hitler’s Germany.

There are not many popularly disseminated studies of pre-war Germany’s economy, but that’s probably for a reason. AXIS nations (Germany, Italy, etc.) generally created command-and-control nation-states that were based on mercantilism, a conflation of private enterprise with government power. Sound familiar? The West is not there yet, but it’s getting there in a hurry.

In Nazi German for instance, Adolf Hitler himself reportedly decided how much money was to be printed. Hitler’s friends and enablers grew rich first – as Hitler and those around him decided on those goals and printed the money to fund them. Businesses prospered or did not depending on their value to the “state’s” goals and objectives.

People in Western democracies may not fully understand that while the AXIS was defeated, its political economy was a good deal closer to what modern elites desire for the West. The Supreme Court decision merely brings this state-of-affairs a little bit closer.

It can surely be said that national socialist-oriented “corporatism” is the defining feature of most Western states in the 21st century. Vast enterprises underpinned by state privileges have been erected and expanded. This is especially true where the military-industrial complex is concerned.

The Pentagon, for instance, has long-operated under the idea that its “suppliers” are necessary to the safety of the state and are to be protected and funded in ways that undermine any semblance of a market economy.

The same can be said for a handful of large financial firms that disseminate Federal Reserve fiat money. It has come to be an accepted occurrence within the halls of power that money center banks and other “too big to fail” enterprises must be kept afloat. Seen from this view, the Supreme Court decision is a public ratification of a de facto policy. It is only helping to midwife a full-blown version of this system.

The European Union is based on a version of the AXIS political economy and the US, increasingly, as well. While communism has always been held up as a Western bogeyman by the mainstream media, it is actually a kind of fascism that is being created before our weary eyes – first nationally and then globally.

Yes, if “they” have their way, the future of the world is to be one of fascism led by a handful of global elites who apparently fancy themselves as a kind of aggregate living godhead. No wonder the Supremes verdict turned out as it did.

Supreme Court Rules in Favor of Obamacare

In a victory for the New Deal bastardization of the Constitution, the Supreme Court has ruled that the government can mandate at gunpoint that Americans buy monopolized health care insurance.

“The Supreme Court upheld the health care law today in a splintered, complex opinion that appears to give President Obama a major victory,” reports USAToday.

In order to avoid arguments that the law is a misinterpretation of the Commerce Clause, the Court ruled that the requirement is a tax.

Justice Anthony Kennedy, who held the court’s swing vote, dissented. Reading from the bench, Kennedy said he and three conservative justices believe “the entire Act before us is invalid in its entirety.”

Polls conducted prior to the landmark vote indicate most Americans do not favor the law.

Today’s ruling is important because it is the first time in history that the federal government has required citizens enter into contract with private corporations to buy a product or service. It also represents one of the most egregious violations of the Constitution in American history.

“The insurance mandate clearly exceeds the federal government’s powers under the interstate commerce clause found in Article I, Section 8 of the Constitution,” writes Ron Paul. “This is patently obvious: the power to ‘regulate’ commerce cannot include the power to compel commerce! Those who claim otherwise simply ignore the plain meaning of the Constitution because they don’t want to limit federal power in any way.”

“The commerce clause was intended simply to give Congress the power to regulate foreign trade, and also to prevent states from imposing tariffs on interstate goods. In Federalist Paper No. 22, Alexander Hamilton makes it clear the simple intent behind the clause was to prevent states from placing tolls or tariffs on goods as they passed through each state — a practice that had proven particularly destructive across the many principalities of the German empire.”

Expect death panels to come back in a big way now that Obamacare is the law of the land. Now that there is no fear of political backlash, death panels will be sold as a measure to reduce medical costs which will predictably skyrocket (as costs do of anything government touches).

If you are skeptical of this, consider a recent report in Britain. “NHS doctors are prematurely ending the lives of thousands of elderly hospital patients because they are difficult to manage or to free up beds, a senior consultant claimed yesterday,” the Daily Mail reported last week.

It is being sold as a “death pathway” that is the equivalent of euthanasia of the elderly.

Heading for Economic Collapse

The late Bob Chapman predicted it years ago. So does Paul Craig Roberts. It could “destroy Western civilization,” he believes.

Untenable political and financial decisions put US and European economies on a collision course with disaster. Bailouts and market manipulation delay the inevitable.

A tipping point approaches. Only its timeframe is unknown.

Money power runs world economies. Wall Street and giant European banks run Western societies.

“Financial deregulation converted the financial system (into) a gambling casino….,” says Roberts. Zero interest rates destroy household savings. Media scoundrels suppress ugly truths.

Western governments letting banking crooks scam the system for profits “is a system that is headed for catastrophic failure.”

Bad news keeps getting worse. Public acknowledgement arrives late. Moody’s June 21 downgrade of 15 major banks conceded what’s been known for years.

Giant Western banks are zombies. They’re insolvent. Taxpayer funded bailouts alone keep them operating. Moody’s warned last winter than downgrades were coming. So-called stress tests suppress more than they revealed.

Ellen Brown calls the “derivatives casino….a last-ditch attempt to prop up a private pyramid scheme.” It’s slowly crumbling under its own weight.

JPMorgan Chase is considered America’s most stable bank. Brown calls it bankrupt. Evidence, she says, shows it’s acknowledged $2 billion loss perhaps exceeds $30 billion.

Roberts explained that America’s five largest banks hold $226 trillion in derivative bets. For example, JPMorgan’s total assets approach $2 trillion. Its derivatives holdings exceed $70 trillion. Its risk capital is about $136 billion.

Its “derivative bets are 516 times larger than the capital that covers the bets.”

Goldman Sachs “takes the cake,” says Roberts. Its $44 trillion in derivatives speculation “is covered by only $19 billion in risk capital.”

In other words, its bets are “2,295 times larger than” cash on hand covering them.

Derivatives bets by America’s five largest banks exceed US GDP over 15-fold. Corrupt politicians allowing it assure eventual economic collapse.

Banking executives are serial liars. After Moody’s downgrades, Citigroup and Bank of America officials said its action failed to reflect “safeguards” in place for years.

Roberts destroyed their argument. So did Brown and other independent analysts.

Moody’s and other rating agencies long ago lost credibility. They failed to acknowledge the sub prime crisis until headlines revealed it.

They bogusly call toxic assets safe in return for large fees and big profits.

They’re called lagging, not leading indicators. They’re many days and dollars short. They’re part of the dirty game that scams ordinary people.

RBC Capital Markets analyst Gerard Cassidy said Moody’s “action is five years too late.”

Stanford University Professor Anat Admati called its downgrades bad news at a time bank “balance sheets are very fragile.”

Credit Agricole Securities analyst Mike Mayo said America doesn’t have a coherent solution to its banking crisis. Will actions like Moody’s make it safer, he asked?

Saying the jury is still out, he doubts it. He also called Thursday’s downgrades “unfortunate four years after (a) crisis” that’s deepening, not improving.

Evidence shows troubled global banking conditions. Central bank liquidity injections alone prevent collapse. They’re running their course. Each new round helps less than previous ones. Ahead they’ll be ineffective at a price too great to bear.

They’ve bailed out banks at the expense of economic growth. Recovery is more distant than earlier. Speculators alone profited. Good times they alone enjoyed are ending.

Economic data show it. The closely watched Markit Eurozone purchasing managers composite index matched May’s 46 read. It showed production contracting at the steepest level since June 2009.

Its flash measure dropped from 45.1 in May to 44.8 in June. It reflected a 37-month low. Markit’s chief economist, Chris Williamson, said the flash reading “rounded off the weakest quarter for three years.”

China’s flash PMI fell to 48.1 in June. Manufacturing contracted for the eighth consecutive month. The Fed slashed 2012 and 2013 US growth. Growing numbers of companies are cutting revenue and profit estimates.

Germany’s ZEW confidence index plunged to -16.9 from 10.8 in May. It’s the largest monthly decline since the 1998 LTCM/Russian debt default crisis.

Moreover, its Ifo business confidence index hit a two-year low, and Italy’s consumer confidence plunged to its lowest level since 1996.

US initial jobless claims are rising. On June 21, they reached a 2012 high.

Slowdown is gaining speed. Economic underpinnings look wobbly. In June alone, about 70% of economic reports showed weakness.

The Fed’s Operation Twist extension underwhelmed analysts. Officially it’s called the Maturity Extension Program. It exchanges short-term debt for longer term holdings. In theory, it’s to lower interest rates on 10-year Treasuries. In early June 22 trading, they stood at 1.63%, a near record low.

Housing remains in Depression. In the week ending June 15, mortgage purchase applications plunged 8.5%. Companies keep cutting planned capex expenditures. According to the latest Architectural Billings Index, commercial construction keeps contracting.

Down 22% from their highs, commodity prices entered bear market territory. Oil prices hit an 18-month low. It signals weak demand. Brent fell 8% in one week. It’s down 30% from its earlier high.

US factory output reached an 11-month low. Eurozone business activity dropped for the fifth straight month. At a 48.5 read in June, Germany’s PMI shows contraction. The Fed’s June Philadelphia manufacturing index contracted sharply to -16.6 after dropping 5.8 points in May.

The Jolts (Job Opening/Labor Turnover) survey showed job openings plunged 325,000 in May. It was the steepest drop since Lehman’s September 2008 collapse. Only twice before in the past decade did it decline that much. All major categories were affected.

New hires decreased for the second straight month. They’re lowest since July 2011. Again all categories showed weakness.

Layoffs keep increasing. Cuts rose in three of the past four months.

Data revisions are mostly negative. Peak levels were reached months ago. The full impact of how weak things are has yet to hit home. So-called recovery is illusion, not reality.

Europe’s economic condition is grim. Bailing out Spain gets harder. Economist Jack Rasmus estimates its banks need at least $300 billion, not the publicly announced $78.75 billion.

He added that hundreds of billions more are needed to rescue Spain’s regional and central governments. At issue is who’ll supply it. Sick economies can’t solve their own problems.

Eurozone ones look to Germany for help. It bears the greatest burden when it’s economy is weakening.

Italy’s troubled economy combined with its 12-month 29% of GDP sovereign financing burden means it can’t contribute much.

Europe’s PIIGS (Portugal, Ireland, Italy, Greece and Spain) combined with troubled France have a combined public debt of 200% of Germany’s GDP. Its own debt to GDP ratio is 80%.

Simple math says it can’t backstop the Eurozone. Bailouts can’t continue forever. Debt burdened economies head for collapse. Adding more hastens the timeframe.

Troubled Eurozone economies are so weak that cross-border bank-to-bank lending dried up. ECB chairman Mario Draghi calls inter-bank lending “dysfunctional.” It’s “not working,” he said. As it goes, so does business lending altogether.

Rasmus said these developments show deepening crisis conditions. He blames wrongheaded policy measures.

Austerity when stimulus is needed hit hard. Government revenues are down. So is consumption. Business spending keeps falling. Debt keeps rising. A looming train wreck approaches.

Why should households and economies bear the burden of bailing out crooked banks? Why are too big to fail ones allowed to exist? Why do ordinary people put up with politicians scamming them for personal gain? Why do they elect new bums in place of old ones?

When conditions exceed threshold levels too painful to bear, maybe they’ll react the way they should have years ago.

A Final Comment

On June 19, the Global Europe Anticipation Bulletin (GEAB) issued a “red alert.” Global conditions are “negative, even catastrophic,” it said.

The second half of 2012 may “mark a major inflection point of the global system crisis….”

Day of reckoning time approaches. Putting off “the inevitable comes at a high price….”

“The shock of the autumn (of) 2008 will seen like a small summer storm compared to what(‘s)” coming. The “world system” will be “shake(n).”

GEAB predicts a conversion of geopolitical and economic shocks. They include more Middle East wars, Afpak chaos, “Gulf countries swept away in the turmoil,” America’s economy in free fall, major bank insolvencies, and money printing madness ended because it no longer works.

Early summer perhaps is the calm before the storm. If GEAB is right, it won’t be pleasant on arrival.

Media Dismisses Warning About Tyranny and Troops on the Street as Kooky Conspiracy Theory

Chad Garrison‘s critique of the news that the Army is driving military vehicles through the streets of St. Louis, Missouri, is typical of the media response to this outrageous event – a local television station’s coverage “really ignited the crazies” in the same way Orson Welles’ War of World radio broadcast did in 1938, Garrison chides.

Garrison, who writes for the River Front Times, neglected to note that Welles’ drama was pure fiction, whereas the troops on the streets of St. Louis are real.

In addition to lambasting Zero Hedge and other sites covering the deployment, Garrison singled out Alex Jones who he sarcastically states produced the video below “from a basement bunker.”

Mr. Garrison’s inability to understand the significance of troops on the streets is sadly normal behavior on the part of the establishment media (and much of the alternative media, as the River Front Times is billed as a St. Louis “alternative”).

In fact, we note today, many residents in St. Louis are praising troops on the streets. According to a Fox 2 St. Louis report, “people who live and work in the area think the army training is a good idea.

Abhorrence to standing armies is spelled out in the Declaration of Independence, a document many Americans unfortunately do not know and would not understand if they bothered to read it.

“A standing military force, with an overgrown Executive will not long be safe companions to liberty,” James Madison warned during a speech delivered at the Constitutional Convention in 1878. “The means of defense against foreign danger, have been always the instruments of tyranny at home. Among the Romans it was a standing maxim to excite a war, whenever a revolt was apprehended. Throughout all Europe, the armies kept up under the pretext of defending, have enslaved the people.”

In a letter to Madison penned in 1787, Thomas Jefferson lamented the fact that the Bill of Rights does not include a restriction on standing armies. “The following [addition to the Bill of Rights] would have pleased me,” he wrote. “All troops of the United States shall stand ipso facto disbanded at the expiration of the term for which their pay and subsistence shall have been last voted by Congress.”

“The spirit of this country is totally adverse to a large military force,” he wrote to Chandler Price in 1807.

The “training” conducted in St. Louis is yet another example of the state conditioning us to the presence of a standing army in our midst. It has little to do with al-Qaeda or phantom terrorists. It is, as Madison noted, an instrument of tyranny designed to enslave the people.
